Chris Acito is Gapstow’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He founded Gapstow in 2009. Gapstow Capital Partners is a New York-based alternative investment firm that allocates capital to the global public and private credit markets through multi-manager funds, and directly invests in a targeted set of opportunities (e.g., CLOs and community banks). Mr. Acito began his career in the investment management industry as a strategic planning consultant, beginning in Booz-Allen & Hamilton’s Banking & Capital Markets practice in New York. Mr. Acito graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and received his Masters in Economics from the University of Chicago. He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey, which he has served as Board Chairman (2009-2015) and as Head of the Investment Committee (2003-2009) of the School’s $300 million endowment.
