Board of Directors

Our talented Board of Directors are selected by club members and elected to a term of two years. They play a key role in providing leadership at our monthly management meetings and quarterly board meetings. They also oversee and review the financial performance of the club. As volunteers, they receive no compensation. They are actively involved in club events and often act as leaders of specific committees, lending their creative ideas and industry experience.

 Marjorie Churgin 

    In addition to being a valued asset as a Director of CBSAC/NY, Marjorie Churgin is an accomplished senior consultative business development executive with expertise in financial services and successful experience in selling to C-suite clients. In the last three years, as Business Development Director at AnalytixInsight, and over the course of her career, she has acquired considerable expertise in capital markets, investment management, knowledge management, business intelligence, and data analytics. She began her career at Goldman Sachs after receiving her MBA in Finance at Columbia Business School on full merit scholarship and has in the last decade played key roles at CSA and the Economist Group.   

Wendy Diller

    Wendy is a member of board and chair of the healthcare committee. Wendy is an example of the multi-school talent working within CBSAC/NY. She has an MBA from the Stern School of Business - New York University as well as Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University. When not volunteering for the club, Wendy writes and analyzes content for the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Wendy is currently a Senior Writer/Analyst and the Director of New Media Ventures at Innovation in Medtech, LLC. She is also a part-time contributor to the Forbes Healthcare Blog.

John Gordon

    John is a natural leader. In addition to being a Director, John is Vice Chair of the Entrepreneurship Committee. An accomplished entrepreneur, he founded his own company, USA corporate Services 30 years ago, a company that continues to thrive under his leadership. His expertise is helping international companies and entrepreneurs from abroad come to the US and connect with the right network of experts. With an MBA from Columbia Business School (2008), with several academic honors, John has also managed to find time to be actively involved in the theatrical world. He is director of a theater company and producer of a made-for-tv movie.

 Andi Gray

    Andi is a Director for Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York and organizes events for the Business Owner’s Committee. She is a self-styled small business advocate, business growth consultant and published author. Andi’s career began in sales, marketing and new business development at Xerox, American Express and Contel. She completed an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School. She founded (1995) and runs a successful business, Strategy Leaders Inc., which provides strategic consulting services to business and also writes a weekly column “Ask Andi” for Westchester and Fairfield County business journals. Andi has won many awards for her contributions and is a frequent public speaker.

Bradley Jobling

    Bradley is a recent Co-President of Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York, and has been on the Board since 2013. Over the last two decades, Bradley has built a successful career in digital marketing strategy with particular focus on social media. He is currently a Social Media Manager for HelpMeSee, an international non-profit organization financed in part by the Gates Foundation with a unique approach to eliminating cataract blindness. Bradley has been highly effective in increasing social media engagement for HelpMeSee. 

Previously, he worked in a similar role at Columbia University Dept. of Surgery where he drove digital and social media strategy, exponentially increased online marketing audience, and raised funds for the university. 

Bradley is also a regular conference speaker at The Center for Non-Profit Success and New York State Dept. of Health. He received his MBA from the Columbia Business School.

Maurice Triquet

    Maurice is also on the Board of Directors of Robert Elliot Lewis Architecture firm. As a global executive expert in management with expertise in corporate strategy, Mauriceis adept at omni-channel commercial strategy implementation and execution. Starting his career in finance at JP Morgan Chase and American Express, he has since broadened his base to retail and consumer brands like Lacoste and Wacoal before assuming his current role at Robert Elliot Lewis, holding executive positions and building an impressive career. He is expert at positioning brands and has worked with clients from more than 36 countries. He has a CBE from Columbia Business School (2003) with a focus on marketing and international business and a BA from NYU Stern School of Business.

 Yan Yang

    Yan is also one of our newer board members and another example of the multi-professional nature of our members. With a MSc degree from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD from New York University, Yan is currently working for Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a biotech company, to expand the field of applications of their innovative technologies for rapid identification of biological molecules, such as DNA. Also interested in the entrepreneurial side of business, Yan has been involved in the Club’s event planning in her capacity as Co-chair of the Distinguished Leaders Committee and as member of the Healthcare Committee. Beyond Yan’s roles in the Club, she is a founding International Alumni Ambassador to the University of Amsterdam Alumni Circle/New York and a Committee member of the New York University Young Alumni Leadership Circle and the Young Patrons Group at the Park Avenue Armory.
