• Robert Deckey, Chief Investment Officer - George Comfort & Sons, Inc. 

Mr. Deckey is responsible for new acquisitions, portfolio performance, and capital markets.  Prior to joining George Comfort & Sons, Inc., Rob worked for over 10 years in real estate corporate finance at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney and JP Morgan.  In his role as a senior banker, Rob completed over 60 transactions valued at over $10 billion.  He advised REIT clients on equity and debt raising, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and asset sales.  Prior to Wall Street, Rob worked at AEW and EF Hutton in acquisitions and portfolio management. 

While at AEW in the early 1990’s, he worked on the restructuring of over $2 billion in assets, giving him the foundation for prudent investing.  Rob has a BA in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University, and an MBA from Wharton Business School in real estate finance.  Founded in 1919, George Comfort & Sons, Inc. is a private commercial real estate operator and developer with $4 billion, 11 million SF of mostly office buildings in New York City, Washington DC and Beverly Hills.
