SPEED NETWORKING FOR CONNECTIONS & COMMUNITY
How often do you sit down with your fellow alumni and exchange real value? Well, here is your opportunity! Don't leave that value on the table. Event Date: Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at 6:00pm
How often do you sit down with your fellow alumni and exchange real value? Well, here is your opportunity! Don't leave that value on the table.
Join fellow Alumni members of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York for an evening of structured speed networking. Past participants tell us that they had a great time and made valuable connections. You will be able to share ideas and make specific requests to multiple people in a short time-frame. Requests for support on things like career move ideas, strategic alliances, employee candidates, feedback on business ideas, contacts within an organization, etc.
How does structured networking differ from informal networking?
1) It increases your exposure to people in the room 2) It focuses the conversation so you get the most meaningful input 3) It is equitable; everyone gets equal air time 4) It is professionally facilitated
There will be ample opportunity to meet everyone in the room; so bring your business cards!
