Members in good standing of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York, who are alumni of the Columbia Business School, may, upon written request to the Club, list their business website URL and related information ("link") on the Links page of the Club's website under the heading "Alumni Businesses - Support CBS Alumni in New York". The information contained in Club member links will be limited to the Club member's business URL, the Club member's first and last name, year of graduation, title, and a brief description of the Club member's business. The title and description should be less than 100 characters, combined. To request a link, email us at Want My Link.

The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York reserves the right to deny listing the link of any Club member which theClub, in its sole discretion, determines is inappropriate. The order in which Club member links are listed will be determined, at the sole discretion, of the Club. The Club also reserves the right to discontinue listing alumni business websites, without notice, at the sole discretion of the Club.

The listing of a Club member's link does not represent or imply an endorsement by the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York. The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York shall not be responsible for any damage or loss of any kind arising out of or related to your use of any website and/or the information contained therein, which is linked to the Club's website. The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, what news items are published on the Club's website.

Membership:
The eligibility requirements for membership in the Club may be found under Eligibility, in the Membership section of this website. Please note that all membership purchases are subject to academic verification, and the Club reserves the right to cancel the membership, at any time, of any member not meeting the eligibility requirements as set forth by the Club. Any refund of membership dues paid by a member whose membership is subsequently cancelled by the Club for failure to meet the eligibility requirements of the Club, will be at the sole discretion of the Club.

Member Directory
The Member Directory is provided with the express understanding that the information will not be used for any commercial or philanthropic purpose not directly connected with or approved by the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York; nor will copies be made; nor will the original information or facsimile be given, lent, or sold to any other individual or organization.

Examples of appropriate use of the Member Directory include developing networks, identifying speakers, and seeking career advice. Examples of inappropriate use of the Member Directory include (but are not limited to) marketing products and soliciting donations. When using the Member Directory you agree that you will not use the information in the Member Directory for business solicitation purposes. The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York will respond to any complaints by taking appropriate action.

The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses or damage arising out of the use or misuse of the Member Directory or the content of any message sent by or to Member Directory users. Refunds
The Club does not offer refunds to individuals on membership dues or on payments made to purchase Club event tickets. If a Club event is cancelled or postponed by the Club, the Club will provide a full refund or offer to apply the payment towards the purchased
event's rescheduled date, at the choice of the purchaser. The Club accepts no responsibility for refunds on cancelled events which
are offered through the Club's website but which are not Club events.

Member Benefits and Discounts
The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York offers, in its sole discretion, benefits and discounts to its members, which the Club deems appropriate. The Club reserves the right to deny listing any benefit or discount which is offered to the Club. The Club also reserves the right to discontinue listing any member benefit or discount, without notice, at the sole discretion of the Club. The listing of member benefits and discounts on the Club's website and in Club newsletters does not represent or imply an endorsement by the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York. The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York shall not be responsible for any damage or loss of any kind arising out of or related to your use of any offered benefit or discount contained on the Club's website. It is the responsibility of each user of this website to do his or her own due diligence before conducting business with any business that offers a benefit or discount to Club members.
