Welcome to the Columbia Business School Club of New York

The Club's Mission Is To Strengthen Our Alumni Community

Our mission is to increase the value of the Columbia MBA by strengthening the alumni network and support services available
to alumni. We endeavor to strengthen the Columbia Business School alumni community through a number of initiatives:

Organizing business programs and social events aimed at strengthening participants' professional development and promoting interaction among alumni.  Club events feature distinguished speakers, practical workshops, topical panel discussions, and other educational and entertaining activities.  These are designed not only to keep members well informed, but also for members to learn from each other.  Events are open to members, their guests and interested colleagues from the business community.  We seek to add value to our members’ MBA degrees.

Sponsoring numerous industry committees, which serve as educational forums for alumni to meet colleagues in their respective fields.  These currently include: Entrepreneurial Ventures, Finance & Banking, Networking, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Marketing, Real Estate, and Social Responsibility.  The Social Events, Student Liaison, Membership, Sponsorships & Alliances, Connecticut/Westchester, and Program Committees represent the balance of the committees within the Club, and occasionally change to reflect the evolving needs of our membership.  We also offer speakers to club events at the School and connect alumni with mentoring activities at the School.

Providing convenient networking opportunities that encourage members to get acquainted, forge business contacts, make new
friends, keep up with old friends, have fun, facilitate access, and pursue shared interests in a stimulating, receptive, supportive,
and collegial environment.

Offering a package of benefits that includes discounted admission to Club events for each member and a guest, regular e-mail messages informing members of upcoming events, a frequently updated website and event calendar, an expanding number of
discounts on theatre tickets, retail establishments, services and entertainment events, and the opportunity to join our industry
committees, management, or Board of Directors.

Fostering closer ties between Club members, students and the faculty of our highly rated alma mater, Columbia Business School.

Offering continuing education courses to help members update their professional knowledge and to develop new skills.

Facilitating the distribution of programs to other Columbia Business School alumni clubs, both here in the U.S. and overseas.

Communicating pro bono and non-profit volunteer opportunities to our alumni.
